Heading to Hong Kong.
Ok done tons of research here and on PPRUNE. If there is anyone who is currently flying the 74 Freighter for Cathay based at one of the U.S bases please send me a PM. I would like to know your thoughts on the company, culture, flying schedule. ect..... thanks

Unfortunately I can't help you with your question, but would like to know, how you went about getting an interview with Cathay. Did someone walk your stuff in, or did you just apply the regular way?

I have the first interview scheduled...emailed a resume, recieved app and FedEx'd it back, called for interview. 2 1/2 months time. No one walked in my app. Sounds like they just need alot of pilots for the US freighter operation.

Not really. they have a slightly higher level of FOs that go along on the long trips.

Sounds like they just need alot of pilots for the US freighter operation.
