Question for anyone in the know:

On the Cathay Pacific flight-time update form, it states that all updates must be made on size A4 paper copies of the update form. Size A4 paper (used in Hong Kong) is difficult to find here in the U.S. Does anybody know if Cathay Pacific will accept a copy of the update form reduced from size A4 to size 8-1/2 x 11 paper?

I'd hate to have them send it back or reject the update because it's on the wrong size paper. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with this before. Thanks.

...or you can take it to "office max", I'm sure they have A4 copiers.

I just went to kinkos and they cut A4 size paper and copied the update forms to that. $1.50 for cutting a stack of papers.

A4 paper

Go to a specialty paper store in your area. I got a reem of Hammermill Laser Print paper, radiant white, that is A4(8.27 X 11.69). 500 sheets for about 7 bucks. It's a little easier than getting it cut.

For crying out loud - don't be so paranoid. It doesn't matter. You guys are getting caught up in the details. They are truly NOT that picky. A4 is just the standard that the rest of the world uses - one day the USA will come around.

A4 is so close to 8 1/2 X 11 1/2 that no one will notice. I can assure you that the girls in recruiting don't sit there with a ruler and measure every app. So the pages stick out a little - so what.

15 years ago (when I joined) I sent everything to CX on 8 1/2 X 11 1/2 - and here I am.

OK. Yes I am paranoid, but I just figured better safe than sorry. Went to Kinkos and had the copies made and cut to size A4. Total cost: $1.75. Thank you to propdog for the good idea. Made enough copies for the next 4 years. If it hasn't happened by then, it probably never will...

I would have to agree with Cpt Underpants here,

Sweat the size of the paper if that is the last thing in the world to worry about.

Honestly I thought I was back in a P-3 squadron again with all the anal talk going on.

CHILL OUT,
and goodluck!
