Before you send in your resume, make sure you spell it:

Caribbean

If I send in a resume, I use spell check. If I want a spelling lesson, I'll remember to call you and ask you.

Caribbean Sun is a decent place. I used to work there. Currently they have a 5 on 5 off schedule. pay for an FO is 28,000 a year. Depending on the time of year getting on and off the Island can be impossible. The Islanders come to the states to shop, its a pain. That was why I left myself. Commute could be a day, or 3. They have a great Chirf Pilot and basically a new management team. All of which have a good level of experience.

Hope that helps. Oh and they are getting 6 more planes early next year. So a relatively quick upgrade should happen if you have over 3500 hrs.

Look at it this way, I said it and go it out of the way early on in the thread.

Thank You
That's all I wanted to know. I have way over 3500 hrs and I have DHC8 time. I guess he commute could be a b*tch during certain times. However, everytime I jumpseated to SJU, I got on, but always had to sweat it out.

Glad I could help. I just wish more people here would just answer the friggin' question instead of being an ass about spelling. Feel free to PM me if you have any other ?'s

Try checking your spelling. "I said it and go it out of the way."

Pay attention to what's happened over the past few years to ASA.

I heard their current boss fled the mainland after wreaking havoc with them and took lots of money with him.

My opinion. SKip was a great cheerleader/promoter of ASA and did exactly what Big D told him to do but, I think he did a very poor job picking/managing the people that were dealing with the everyday operations. Especially the labor groups. Hope there are better people running Caribbean Sun.

How do you apply? I did not see it on the web page.
