Any news on a UPS contract. Sounds like everything is dependant upon UPS signing a contract before FedEx signs one. Then the hiring flood gates open.

I know, I know, you'll refute that statement but that's the word on the street, or at least the gutter.

So, UPS guys, what do you hear? What to you know?

No refutation from me.

But if that's what you are waiting for, it could be a long wait. A very long wait.

Who said I'm waiting idley by? The trickle of hiring right now is supposedly nothing compared to whats to come. Therefore what's the latest?

My mistake. If that is what FedEx is waiting for....the wait will continue for awhile.

The trickle of hiring you speak of has been shutoff since January.

NMB Indefinite Hold?

I think I read in one of the Fedex ALPA emails that UPS's mediator put their negotiations in, "indefinite hold"....or something along those lines. I didn't even know that was an option. Can UPS folks shed any light on this?
