Cargo Jumpseats to HNL,OGG etc.

Got the Pax operators down pat, but looking for a Cargo back-up jumpseat just in case. Any recent experiences? Gracias! Preferably west coast.......

Kalitta Air flies a B747 from HNL-LAX-HNL almost daily. The next seven days of their schedule is available on www.kalittaair.com.

Check with your jumpseat coordinator if you can ride on them. I believe since it's a cargo plane without a reinforced door, approval must be arranged in advance. A recent list is available at http://www.ibt747.org/airlines/kai/kai-jumpseat.htm

A USA Jet guy jumpseated on Kalitta Air to HNL and back last month so it's possible.

From what I heard he had a great time and he had no problems getting out there or returning.
