WN Probie with 208 Time?

Of the recent most recent hires on the SWA POOL Deck, Most were January 2002 Interviews, none later. AirNet only had the Caravan "Online" during the fourth Quarter of 2001. This individual had to be pulling your leg, as they could not possibly get the 1000 hrs turbine in less than 2-4 months and be put in the pool for a class date. There was a joe that left in Jan 02 when he started wading in the pool. He was a LJ Captain and no one could figure out why he would leave without an actual class date. No known van drivers to date working there.

As for vans crashing when the engine dies. Same performance as high perf twins. Slow it down enough, less than 90 KIAS, better chance dying at the inertia of your improperly secured cargo, than the impact with terrain. 5-point harness saved many a bacon comapred to that of a twin.
100-1/2

I never had any engine problems with PT-6, just simulations for training. I know a few people who did have problems with the PT-6, but on Otters.

Surely Fed Ex, SWA and others don't place more value on 1000 hrs of F 16 time then they do 1000 hrs of sCaravan time.........
