China Airlines does not operate 757's, 767's, or A320's. They operate 747-400's, A340's, 737-800, and a few A300 which are soon to be retired.

airplane types

That agent is in negotiation with multple airlines.
I might have written the wrong type to the wrong airline, but those are the types that are presently recuited.
It is not China airlines in taipe, it is China Air in mainland China.

I think he means Air China.

It's hard to believe they are looking for many expats. I used to teach China Northern MD-90 pilots and they had F.O.s who only flew 50 hours per year. It wasn't pretty in the sim  That said, they had some really sharp captains, including their chief pilot.

The loads are full
and this is the only place in the world right now where the airlines cant get enough airplanes fast enough.
Natualy for international flights there sharp captains do not speak english good enough for international ops.

Tiktak,

The last I heard, no mainland company's were recruiting expats at the momment. Especially Air China, considering they now send their cadets to Adelaide where we send our cadets. English language courses are part of the 60 week training program.

I must admit, things do change swiftly around here. I could be mistaken.
