The world needs piano tuners too! I think that might end up being my fallback if it all goes down the toilet.

Its a lot easier to replace a 402 driver than it is a jet driver. This is why a union will never work the company can let you guys strike and simply replace you. There would be absolutely no consequences for the line crossers. No one even knows who the heck cape air is hardly

Yeah....theres noooo way anyone could ever replace you, big jet "driver". You probably couldnt fly a 402 to save your life, assclown.

Please, a 402 is private pilot stuff.

Hey, could you please walk my resume into CAL when you get there? I have lots of 402 time. Or wait....that doesnt count? Wait a minute here....Ive got no skills whatsoever...I dont fly RJ's. Im not gonna make it in this business am I? Maybe I should just turn in my certificates right now and call it a day?

"Maybe Its just me but, a Union for a pilot who flys Piston Poppers is as silly as a union for janitors."

Piston poppers? Yeah....ITS JUST YOU.

WOW, whats with the hostility here? I've jumped with these guys before. I even got to ride right seat. Honestly most days the "OH WOW" factor is gone for me but this stuff was freaking cool! These guys are flying 10 legs a day, in IMC to mins every approach! Hand flying many times single pilot! How can any one of us say they are just 402 drivers? Next time think of them when your at FL350 and the hardest part of your day is finishing your sudoku.

The fact is I dont need to fly a 402. I do just fine where im at with comair. But hey have fun trying to make a union there as it gets busted by low timers anyway. Remember rome is burning

I guess everyone forgets that Cape Air has ATRs and a 121 cert.

irrelevant, you are absolutely easily replaceable. Long live strike busters who aren't afraid to tell union peeps their demands are ridiculous!!!

Agreed. Cape Air has some of the best sticks out there! I'm sure I couldn't hold a candle to some of the work they do........12 times a day!

I just wish they went with ALPA instead of the piano tuners union.

The record is 24 legs in one day I believe.

Doesn't Cape AIr have higher Mins than most regionals? And Pay better in the first couple years too?

Does that explain the over 50% washout rate at Cape Air? Your just jealous that you have lost your ability to actually fly a airplane. Your nothing but flame bait and I bit.

why would I be jealous of hand flying. That is a waste of time. I have already proven I can hand-fly! Now is the time to let the auto-pilot do the work. Oh wait I forgot the 402s don't have auto-pilot. Sorry sucks to be you. Don't worry the union will steal 1.95% of your paycheck every month. Maybe they will buy an auto-pilot for you. Oh wait I forot unions are in it for the money just like everyone else. Sorry man you got jipped.

Im pretty sure everybody here hates you. I don't. I think your really cool. Seriously, whats with your anti-union agenda? Am I supposed to be taking notes here? What can I do to help you stop all of the unions in this industry? Should I post stuff on online forums? Just let me know and Ill get started.

simple. Unions are for tards and they rob you blind. There is no way they need 1.95% of your check your entire career. Your better off hiring your own attorney. You will pay a lot less in attorney fees than you ever will in union dues in case something bad happens. Unions are a bigger waste of money than going to a strip bar. Sure you have fun for a while but when the party is over your out a lot of money and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Sorry but thats life as a union tard would say.

I'm not a Cape Air employee. And if you knew anything about 135 pax single pilot ops you would know that per the regs and plane that is single pilot IFR must have a auto-pilot or a SIC. Also, in this case the teamsters agreed not to take any union dues until a contract is in place. Cape Air is a little different than some underpaid regional. Isn't it sad to think that a 402 captain can make more than a jet pilot.

How absolutely wrong you are. All 402 captains must have an ATP meaning your're drawing from a pool of pilots who are willing to fly single-pilot IFR AND who hold an ATP.

Do you even know what you're taking about? Do you know what the pilots are looking for? I haven't even heard any demands yet.

Now that Cape Air's pilots have completed the first step of getting a union in, please understand that this was the easy step. Getting everyone to rally together to get a strong contract in place is the difficult step, especially since the union passed with a 60% "yes" vote. Congrats, and good luck.

Your wife is really screwed now. I warned her about the awesome aspects of Local 747, but oh well.

And all you idiots who got your RJ job after flight instructing for 6 months need to realize that you're not as good as you think you are. The minute amount of actual flying experience you had is long gone after a year or more of pulling the gear and getting the captain more sugar for his coffee. You have no idea what it is like to fly an airplane that doesn't do everything for you. And by the time you actually become a captain, your skills will be so poor that if you ever get into a bad situation in the air, you and the 70 people behind you are done. Your check list would read:

Seat.....Slide Aft
Head.....Bend Down
Ass.....Kiss Goodbye

The short answer to that one is, nope, this moron has no freakin' clue as to what he's yapping about.

D'ooshBagelo, seriously.... you're the biggest joke/retard on this board, bar none. You're an idiot, not even bright enough to work as a CFI or lav truck driver, yet you keep droning on with your scabby, union bashing drivel. Why do you keep flapping your yap on this board? Has anyone ever agreed with a single post or thought you've ever written? I think not.

You postings on this thread show just how dumb you really are. You, the almighty CRJ driver, look down upon the C-402 pilots as being beneath you, not worthy, not real pilots... I don't think you have a clue as to what it takes to fly single pilot pax in a 402, or cancelled checks in a Baron/Aerostar/C310... all day or night, in all kinds of weather. You're not worth the sweat off of a Cape Air pilot's balls.
