We had one pilot get the CAM. He put it on his business card, which I am sure impresses anyone who knows what it is (which is almost nobody). My Chief Pilot doesn't have a CAM, so I don't see it as a requirement to take over for him if he retires. When management tries to assign me some BS project I always say, "I would love to help but I am too busy studying for the CAM", so although I really have no idea what a CAM actually does for a pilot career, I do know that saying you are studying to be one gets you out of doing projects.

Does it go on your pilot certificate as a type? LoL, seems like a BS degree, already got one of those!
