His personal life is a disaster just like his professional life. He lives with many in the alternative life styles, and must be one as well.

Undisciplined individuals like this should not be leading all when they can not represent themselves in any type of appropriate manner.

But then again the CAL MEC vice chairman is a confessed nudist so they must all get along well screwing over everyone.

Would you mind elaborating on this? Preferably with some sort of past history, not simply slanderous remarks. By the way, I'm not sure there are too many people under the age of 45 who care what consenting adults may or may not do behind closed doors, so please only post evidence relavent to the person not performing his duties on the NC well.

I don't think one has to lean left to use the fear argument although it is typically where you see it. What I am trying to say is that just because someone doesn't like, agree with, or accept something (in this case homosexuality) doesn't mean that they are fearful of it which is exactly what homophobia means. Saying that someone is fearful of homosexuality usually is meant to say someone is ignorant and should learn to accept it by "opening" their minds.

With phrogs in your title, I didn't think you are much for leaning left. What I meant by an argument used by the other side is one used by supporters of accepting the lifestyle whether left or right.

I don't have any argument with what you posted except for the asinine remark about CAL pilots getting what they deserve. You show me one airline that isn't run by the senior most pilots.

You think the ALPA political process actually works or something? This is a nihilistic profession and to single out CAL as something different from all the other carriers that have sold out their junior pilots is just plain stupid.

I have no dog in this fight, but I do know the individual in question (and have known him for some time), and you, sir, are an idiot. This guy got CoEx (or XJet, whatever it's called these days) the best contract they ever saw. The work rules were years ahead of most of the majors at the time, and the pay (including hard and soft time) was the best in the industry (50 seat jets), hands down. The work rules (especially the scheduling section) were a million times better than what CAL has now.

As for his personal life, who cares. As long as he gets you a good contract, isn't that what matters? (Plus, if having friends of the "alternative" lifestyle makes one gay, then I know a lot of straight, married men that must be gay also... Kind of stupid sounding, isn't it...)

Sounds like someone is jealous that a younger, smarter guy beat him out for the NC... And, if you guys at CAL "get what you deserve" (your words, not mine), it will be because the self-centered, self-serving, old goats like you throw the younger, junior guys under the bus one more time.
