I was recruited into the SEALS in a bar in Puntang. That was some bad bush.

I was stationed at Faaqu during the war. Wasn't Puntang just down the road from Git Bit?;)

I have a friend in Cali who claims to be a seal, but I have my doubts. He has whiskers, flippers for feet, eats raw fish, and does nothing but hang out at the beach all day. I say he's a poseur.

Whattaya think? :(

Minh

Man standing over a steaming car - "I think I just blew a seal."
Man walking by - "The one over there smoking a cigarette?" (pointing) "How was it?"

DG needs a heepin' spoonful of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. He'd be posting on this board with his dungarees around his ankles and sucking his thumb after that.
Ya'll go get your pillow cases and a bar of soap...

Alright, dave, time for you to come forward. Sorry to everyone else for this post, but it's time to kick this guy to the penalty box. Nothing he posts is relevant, most of it is purely negative, as evidenced by the quotes below. I have watched for too many years as this scumbag has posed as a Navy SEAL and posted comments concerning part 121 ops. BTW, dave, when was the last time you FLEW? When was the last time you trapped on a carrier? When was the last time you conducted a covert OP on a C-130 COMBAT TALON (WTF?) When was the last time you were EVEN INSIDE a P-3? 'Fess up, or go away...
I believe this forum should help folks trying to get on with a major airline...here's what the dishonorable dave said:

Great advice from a guy with a paycheck, who keeps reminding the furloughees what a great effort all the seniors have made on the the furloughs behalf.

No sh*t, General Leo.

The recall update kool aide from Larry is weak and worthless. He's got a paying job, and it is to keep the remaining furloughs happy and smiling while the boots of the seniors are placed firmly up...

So you’re an English Liberal arts teaching assistant trapped in a P-3 weenies flight suit. While you are at it, why not spell check your buddy BMD’s posts also?

Your more thin skinned than most of the P-3 weenies of I know.
I guess you made my point for me.

Patmack started this thread with a legitimate question about the new airplane selection.

The thread didn't start going south until you and the other thin-skinned P-3 weenies got your panties in...

I bet you didn't have many friends back in Nov/Dec 2000 with all your gs'ing. Probably got your truck keyed a few times.

Do you like 'numb nuts' better than 'dip wad'?

Keep spouting your BS, you hypocritical, self-serving dip wad.

The furloughees get nailed after the attacks of 9/11.

Don't get too upset at GL's posts Spence.

He is a major tool and a sanctimonious a**hole. His hypocrisy regarding the Juniors is unforgivable. He will reap what he sows before it is all over.

LEROY;

You don’t like my postings, you don’t like my qualifications…..that’s fine. Disagree all you want.

My unpopular view on the seniors taking advantage of the juniors is clearly evident by ALPA moving towards embracing screwing the young guys again, by allowing the old guys to move retirement out 5 years.

The overriding strategy of the seniors is to use the 100% pay cut of the furloughees to subsidize and support the industry until the cycle turns positive again. This keeps the few $$ available flowing into the pockets of the seniors.

Another unpopular position is my opinion on the traitorous, self-interest-only position of DALPA arguing, during their grievance of FM, that the attacks on 11 Sep were nothing more than an unfortunate security event. They tried to wrap themselves in the flag and played into the hands of the “blame America first” crowd. Trying to convince the furloughees that they were working hard to get them back to work, DALPA chose to grieve FM rather than take any proactive steps to deal with the approaching day of reckoning for the airline industry. Why did they choose this approach? Simple, it allowed the seniors to keep their newly won “United plus 1” paychecks for another 3 years. This delay and deny strategy worked great for the seniors.

I am not going to get baited into giving the DALPA enforcement committee the information they want to try and conduct a ‘parking lot reeducation session’ and I don’t want to worry about some union goons trying to scare my kids at the school bus stop in the morning.

As for the P-3 gallery, they can shout and call names from the sidelines all they want, they know who their Daddy is.

That's right. I DO know who my Daddy is. Sucks being a bastard, doesn't it?

Ohhhh SNAP. That was a good one. You hit that one right on the head of the nail. Dave is disgruntled and likes to sulk. He thinks everyone who is senior (anyone who is senior to him) is out to get him. Dave has problems, and I think he is Mayor of Psycho Central. Hey Dave----maybe you didn't hear but more than 1000 senior pilots have left since last May and another 150 or so will leave at the end of this month. Those guys that you hate are leaving early and might give you a chance to come back faster. Lay off the crack.

Well, did you NOT understand the concept of seniority when you signed on ? It's a rather uncomplicated idea. If you find it so distasteful, and feel you've been so greatly mistreated by this arrangement, why are you still a part of such a system ( furloughed or active ) ? Why not cut bait and move to greener pastures where things are more "fair" ( start with the Boy Scouts ), where you can move ahead at a speed more proportional to your vast talents rather than getting in line and awaiting your turn like everyone who went before you ? Answer those questions.

As for ALPA, you VOTE IN YOUR REPRESENTATIVES. It's a democratic organization. If there are more junior guys, they will vote for representation more sensitive to the concerns of the junior pilots. You get what the majority voted for...kinda sounds like some other areas of life, huh ?

Don't like the way the elections turned out...don't like your representation ? Quit the company and go to a segment of aviation where things will be more to your liking. In other words, Junior, get up on your hind legs and be a man. And, stop whining !!!!! You've made a fool of yourself.

Dave,

It's more than two guys ganging up on you. Let me try this in English; and I will type it very, very slowly. . .

What are your qualifications to pose / imply that you are a Navy SEAL.

Your silence on the original intent of this thread is deafening. . . .

I graduated from BUD/S in Coronado and served 5 years in the Teams in an operational capacity.

Fluffer doesn't count.

I guess I couldn’t ever expect to experience a more frustrating situation, getting smart *ss remarks from a loud-mouth, P-3 weenie. I at least expect my insults to come from someone who is carrier qualified.

I don't even know what "fluffer' means, it must have special insider meaning for the 'alternate life-style' P-3 culture, if you know what I mean.

But for every negative, there's a positive. Looking at it from Huge's point of view, there is no way he would have ever been able to offer verbal insults to an 1130 without fear of reprisal.

It's not a fear thing, it's a respect thing. I wouldn't dream of intruding on a SEAL forum and tossing insults their way. I have a great deal of respect for them. I'm sure there are those who embarass the group in general whom they would prefer wouldn't tarnish their mostly impeccable reputation. The honorable ones don't wear it on their sleeves and throw it in your face. Very rare to find a douchebag SEAL. I've always been amazed at my luck at stumbling upon rarities!

Wasn't Dave in that movie with Arnold Swartzenegger? The one with the alien in the jungle? Did he say "I aint got time to bleed...." He also aint got time to figure out that he is spouting nonsense about the senior conspiracy theory at DL.

No General, wasn't he was in that movie Ronin with Robert DeNiro. Remember the scene where DeNiro asked the one guy pretending to be a retired SAS agent about the color of the bathrooms at Hereford? The guy couldn't answer and they all figured out he was a phony. Just like all of us on this forum.

But, I knew an SAS agent---a cute Norweigen blonde babe at Oslo who worked behind the ticket counter. We non-revved to Bodo and got naked in the snow.....it melted too.
