Cal pilot morale is very low. Cal PBS is a disaster. It overlooks seniority and is a blank check for the company to build random schedules. It seems every other trip you have to fly with a scab. They, of course, rationalize every aspect of the concessionary contract as justified.

Relationships with management and most other work groups are adversarial. Conventional wisdom cites incompetent or compromised negotiators as causal to our concessions, which go much, much deeper than the hourly pay cut.
 
PBS is going to be fixed. Whether it will take 6 months or a year I have no idea, but it affects too many people to go unchecked.

Plus there are legitimate unionists in the IAH LEC now, so there is reason for hope.
