Does CAL give a salary or per deim in training?

How is the Hotel? Any Good? Single or Double up with someone?

How long is ground school? 9-5, five days a week? Are all the sims in IAH?

Continental takes care of you pretty good in training. Pay is via the ALPA contract $29.97 x 74 hrs (I think). Plus you get per diem round the clock at 1.85. Your put up at the airport Marriot (free high speed internet, decent gym, etc., free shuttle to school house). Positive space passes home for any break over 48 hours (I've been home every weekend!). Also CAL has gone to the AQP training program so everything is train to proficency and you will get typed. Great instructors also.

New hire training is approx. 8 weeks (not including IOE). The schedule (you'll have a copy your 2nd day) is normally m-f with a few 3 day weekends thrown in also. P.M. me if you have any more questions

Rob

Are they hiring right now? I see on their website that they are planning on hiring this year.

Do you know there is already a Big Beer Belly on this Site? Now we have 2. Hope you're more pleasant than the first.

Thanks, this seems like one of the coolest sites on the web.

Cheers,
