Totally agree most guys who are flying will not come back to do a second year of first year pay only to have guys come in on top of them who initially bypassed. Lets see the contract first....
 
Well it just goes to show you, you can't trust management. I guess they still have 4.5 hours to get the bid posted by the 15th.
 
As always we will be adequately staffed this summer because enough CAL pilots have such paltry personal lives that they have nothing better to do on their days off then fly the right seat.

Not holding my breath but I was in GSR Sunday and the IAH chief came in gave his your doing a great job speech and by the way we should see a SYSTEM BID on Wednesday the 15th. He did say he wasn't sure if DEN or ORD would be reflected on this bid but there would be 100 plus slots open on it.

Mr. Fox is the same one who had all the great things to say about the IPads we are getting 2 years ago.
 
For what it is worth, I had an instructor and a check airman both tell me in GSR at IAH in late Jan. that a MAJOR 737 order is "imminent". It is now mid Feb.......... (cricket sounds).
