That was pretty stupid, sorry. LOL

Hey there you you are Poco; where have you been?

Wondered when you would climb out of your hole on this.

Hey tell us all how your job with UA is going (the one you said you had in the bag in '07)? Oh yeah that's right you never got it,, wow sorry about that.

Why don't you just put your head back down the hole and go away now, we'll call you if we need you. "not"

Not sure if this has been posted, but CAL gets to keep its logo!

Wow...Impressive (and yet soooo familiar) website.

Guess AA won't have to worry about going ahead with a merger until this one is completely finished.

Good old Ford & Harrison happy joy-joy merger team moving from one merger to the next. Same playbook, same psychology, different names.

I just saw the interview on CNBC and I gotta say that I think this is a bad idea. Pick one brand or the other and go with it. The United Tulip is an iconic insignia that is known and been associated with United Airlines Worldwide for almost 40 years now. The Continental Globe while also a great logo is associated with the Continental name and brand. I think trying to just put United on the Continental paintjob is going to confuse more passengers than they think. If they wanted to keep the globe, then why not just go with the Continental name then.

I'm sure the bean counters thought, "Hmmmmm how can we save some beans? Well, almost the entire UAL fleet needs to be repainted, but CAL's planes are new-looking. Who cares about recognition, let's save some paint!"

Welcome to the land of beancounters, UAL folks.

Now...If only the CAL pilots could retain their current pay scale along with the logo.

That United scale looks pretty good...To Management.

YKW

I don't beieve either side will be keeping their current payscale, it's time to negotiate. As for the paint I think it's a nice gesture to acknowledge the contribution CO makes to the new company and do not think it has anything to do with beancounters.

....and here you have it folks. Pilots beefing about the a/c paintjob after years of taking it in the cornhole and a chance to regain some integrity.
Nice work.

Callsign: "Fuctusagain"

The call sign should be "Ted" ;)

Touché...

My personal favorite was the argument over which wings to use...
