Hi guys,

I'm a Horizon Air guy (QX). I'm trying to catch a ride from EWR-ZRH this weekend and I'm not sure if you guys allow us to j/s internationally. I realize I cannot occupy the actual j/s, but was wondering if anyone can confirm that I would be allowed on. I have asked the CAL agents, my jumpseat chair and nobody knows. Thanks for the help and you can PM if you like.

Just looked at our J/S list and you CANNOT ride J/S on us internationally.

Sorry about that but at least you have your answer...

Hi there. I know it's a bit much to ask, but could you post a list of the airlines who are allowed to do this? I work for SkyWest and would like to take advantage of it if we are allowed to jumpseat (in cabin of course) internationally.

Thanks, I appreciate the info, better now then in EWR!

Where do you find a copy of that list? I found the Master list on the ALPA website but it looks like the list that shows who we can ride on and not necessarily who can ride on us.

Thanks

Go to CCS, then my coair, then into Flt Ops...on the far right hand side you will see an icon for our jumpseat policy and it lists who we have reciprocals with, who can ride international, and who is CASS...

Tried to do a cut and paste but formatting is all screwed up. Skywest is NOT allowed to jumpseat internationally on us...

HTH:(

Aww, I thought as much, but thank you for the information. The SkyWest jumpseat handbook is miles above Trans State's but still doesn't spell out the special cases such as international.

Haven't jumpseated on CAL internationally, but thinking about it next month
EWR-OSL.
Anything special I need to know about checking in etc?.
Don't really feel like wearing the uniform , is there any problem traveling in street clothes and checking a bag?
