Any 757 lineholders in IAH - what is your % seniority, and how many days off do you have per month? I'm just trying to confirm or deny the PBS horror stories.
I think you'd be in the bottom 10 pilots (not 10%, bottom 10) so you'd be incredibly deep in reserve in IAH. I know of several people that have decided to fly the 737 out of IAH instead of the 757 because they can fly LNB 737s and have 15+ days off instead of sitting RSV in the 756 and going to SAT and MCO for their entire careers. 737 is supposed to be more commutable out of IAH the EWR..
If you look at the bottom lineholder in IAH on the 756 alomost everyone has 12 days off. The problem with the 756 in IAH is the domestic trips are so unproductive and with PBS trying to build everyone's line to 87 hours you have to work alot to get the pay up there. It looks like about 60% guys who want it can get IRO on the Pacific death march. As much as I want to fly the 756(more comfortable) I just don't see me going until I can at least hold some 764 flying which is at around 60%.
PS if you want to see what guys are holding and seniority go to prefbid.com and you can see each BES and each guys award.
