IRO lines go junior so thats what the new hires will do a lot of. True, untill Jul the deadhead pay is %50, then its %75 untill Jul 2008 when it goes back to %100. But, IRO pay is always %100. The reality is that these guys are probably on reserve and getting their 76 hr guarantee anyways.

$29.95 times 76hrs first year. 2nd year is 62.13 for the 757 and $71.64 for the 767. Blended 2nd year pay on reserve is @ 65/hr. Minimum Pay Guarantee is 76hrs any DH time over 76 is paid at 50% until June 2006 then it goes to 75% until 2008 when it is back at 100%.

29.95 X 76hrs= 2276/month
65.00 X 76hrs= 4940/month

Most reserves are getting paid for 80-85hrs per month even with the 50% DH pay.


Mesa payrates, I don't think so.

1st year fo = $21/hr
2nn year fo = $28/hr
you need to be a 4th year Mesa Captain to make $64/hr on the CRJ900 (do they even have any of them)
