Was this Hank Canup? He used to work for ASA, but went to Air Trans. The plane was registered to him, but they haven't announced who was on board yet.

This was not Hank Canup. I just spoke to him on the phone. He sold this airplane to another individual in Dec 2005 and the FAA has not updated its paperwork yet.

Thats good news. Whats up with the FAA? They need to get that sh!t straight or the media shouldn't try to go there.
I bet Hank's phone is ringing off the hook!

Oh my god, a government agency not up-to-date. Quite a shocker. I'm going to re-evalute my existence now.

A spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department identifies the victims as Lee Zimmerman of Roswell, who piloted the plane, and his passenger, David McAdoo of Talking Rock.
Lee is (from FAA database):
Airline Transport Pilot - Airplane Multi Engine Land
Commercial Pilot Privileges only - Airplane Single Engine Land
Flight Engineer -Turbojet Powered

Thanks guys for everyone who has called to make sure i am alive and OK. i did fly at ASA, but i am now at AirTran. i sold the c-150 back in december and i am back to flying ultralights. i am not sure why the faa database still shows me as the registered owner, but i can tell you that i have talked to every major news group, faa, and about a hundred concerned friends. what surprised me most is that fox 5 in atl actually drove up and knocked on my door looking for an interview. i am glad i was did not have to put my wife through the aftermath of a crash. thanks again to everyone.
