Just got the memo on flica, and I am one of the lucky choosen ones that get to piss off the delta people and clog up the camp creek lot. I am not very happy about this, but I dont have much choice. It would be nice if ASA would tell us how to get to the lot... How long it takes to get from the lot to the airport.

I live 15 minutes from the airport, but if I usually leave 45 min prior to duty in. Now I will have to leave 1.5 hours prior to duty in. I NEED to be compensated for this.

Now I cant bring toothpaste on a 4 day? WTF.... I shave my head in the summer so I dont have to worry about the hair Gel.... But I do wear contacts... This is going to be fun.... "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome aboard.. due to highted security your crew is not allowed to bring liquids on our trips, you can be assured there are no liquid bombs on this aircraft, but your captain and first officer both require prescription contacts to fly and neither one of us can see jack @#$%"

This job is not worth a Siht any more
 
Lot 3

The memo states....
"Due to the increasing congestion and projected growth of both ASA and Air Tran, the DOA has informed us that we will have to relocate 700 of our Lot 3 employees to Delta’s Camp Creek parking lot."

How does Airtran affect Lot 3. They don't even park there!!!!!​
 
The cut off is between June and July 2004 hire dates. June, still in Lot 3, July...welcome to your new world...

Turn left at the second light after you get off the interstate. The first after the conference center.

Having never been at the much bally-whooed Lot 3, I have no reference. But the buses will run continuously and it's closer that the Lot 2 and quicker (so say the drivers). Here's the kicker, when I asked about the Delta buses, they say we are able to ride them as long as you are in uniform. Sounds like a fairly good deal to me. Lots of frequency with a shorter ride.
 
The busses will run continuously, not on schedule.

So in other words, you'll wait an hour, then three busses will follow each other all day. This ought to be interesting.

We have Captains with only 2 years of seniority? Crap, I'm almost in 8 year pay and have been going down the seniority list thanks to all the IP's coming over and bidding lines.
 
Just spoke to the contact person listed on the company memo. She indicated the list had in fact been compiled incorrectly and that a new revised list will be issued. New list to be posted on Flica possibly as early as this evening. She stated the revised list will be compiled according to seniority as it properly should be.

Seniority based, except anyone in management, including CCFA and in-flight supervisors, oops, "Chief Flight Attendants", some of whom have been here less than a year. Oh, and the gal who hands out the passes Sum Dum Quok or whatever, stays in lot three too, despote her 6 months seniority.
 
I was an 02 hire and I am on the list.. there were people with 16xxx employee numbers on the list.

Oh Please.... burn in hell

According to the memo, flt crews are exempt from the new no liquid rule however we still must comply with the increased scrutiny.

Unfortunatly, I will be in camp creek with you. The only bright spot is that camp creek is not as bad as clark howell and the ride is not as long.

My bad. I looked at some people I knew a few numbers in front of me (8) and they weren't on the list...I assumed it would be done in seniority order...silly me!
 
Weird. About 10 people ahead of me on the list, but I'm not. How do they do anything around here. Oh well, I won't complain until they catch it.

The current list is WRONG. I spoke to her as well today. It will be corrected in seniority order.

Spots - what spots?

They use the same list which shows you what spots we park in.

I didn't know we had spots! I thought you just parked in any open spot?? Been gone a while, sorry for the dumbfoundedness. That is a word isn't it? :confused:
 
She said she "sorted the list wrong". The kicker was she said she couldnt quite figure out how to sort it correctly, but would post it as soon as she could !
 
When DFW was closed and the crews got kicked to ATL, they were given Clark Howell passes, regardless of seniority.

When they complained, they were told "Parking passes are not a contract item, and therefore are not governed by seniority. Lot 3 openings will be given on a first come, first serve basis".

So technically, ASA could do this any way they want and we'd have no recourse.
 
Oh and by the way you must get your new medallion by the 14th. As soon as she figures out how to sort the list.

Seriously though....ASA pilots are no different then those at the company you work for. Just more vocal b/c of the endless stream of $hit sandwiches we have to eat from management.
