I always wanted to fly on the Concorde, so I just looked up what the cheapest flight would be from JFK to LON on B.A....$6336 (roundtrip-no one ways

I got really lucky a couple of years ago (2000). I was going on a business trip through London. My agent told me that if I flew through JFK, BA would upgrade me to the Concorde from business class at no charge. It took a little bit of work to get the ticket straightened out since Concorde was specifically excluded from our travel policy but the company finally went along with it since the ticket through JFK (rather than PHL) was less expensive. I flew Concorde and the company saved about $800. Not a bad deal! This ticket cost $3600 RT to the Middle East vs. about $4400 from PHL.

The first thing I thought of this morning when I read about the Concorde Programe being cancelled was Mr. Concorde. But you guys beat me to the punch.Oh well.:D
