Here's a question.... Now that they are negotiating, let's say they come to a tentative agreement. Of course the unions have no leverage now, so it'll be crap. Then that TA gets accepted by the pilots.

Now lets say the strike injunction get reversed in 3 months. Would Mesaba ALPA then immediately threaten strike and start working on a better contract, now that they have leverage? Or would they sit on the crappy new "contract" for years?
 
What about an illegal strike like ATC did back in the 70s. Whats the worst that could happen? Everyone get fired from a job they already hate? Without the ability to strike the unions have completely lost their teeth.
 
No min day - huge pay hit for build-up line holders. Those used to be good money makers too...
