"Airline's soul creator is a 15yr old,"

OK, which is it..? A typo, a young James Brown, or Junior is dabbling in the black arts...

I remember the "old" Britt airlines. We use to watch the Metro 1's have to get the gear up to clear the 5 foot fence at the end of the runway. A Britt Captain told me he flew a 99 to get worked on and had to stay at the hanager till it was done. It took three days. No motel for the pilots, they slept in the hanager on cots. All that and $600 a month and the glory of working for Bill Britt.

One other thing. There are "airlines" that "start up" for three years while they "collect" investors money. They never go through the certification process (sometimes they do not even contact the FAA for certification) but they hire people, have web sites, and get money out of people some how but never turn one revenue dollar. They move around a lot and the same people seem to work for all the same "start up" groups. Find out how many "airlines" they have started sucessfully.

IMHO Having to pay for a job is like getting paid in stock, you are better off keeping your money in your pocket and both hands on your wallet. Be careful out there.

Man this is just hilarious...lawn boy to airline executive.

I like this line from the website:
"New information has convinced BrittAir to "shoot" for the lease of two Boeing 757-200 jets with Rolls Royce powerplants."

Who wants to bet the "new information" is a thread over on airliners.net discussing how cool a 757 with RB211s looks and how great it would look in such-and-such a paint scheme.

Sounds to me like another "virtual airline" game that provides mental masturbation for a bunch of teen geeks that haven't discovered girls yet.

They make up their own livery, pick their equipment, and go through all these elaborate exercises, all in an attempt to escape for a few hours, from a world filled with "Snuggies" ""Swirlies" and ridicule.

Putting an ad on a job website is really pushing it, tough. Sounds like some more snuggies, swirlies, and general beatings will be forthcoming for these "C.E. No's".
[with apologies to David Spade].

I think his first purchase should be a spell checker . . . one that can help this poor kid learn the proper use of the apostrohe . . . he's a friggin' "Apostrophe Catastrophe":

BrittAir charges consumers the right price. Although BrittAir financial facts cannot be released, it is very important for the consumer to know that every other airline is over charging because they are to big and need to cover all there costs. BrittAir is honest, and we will do well charging you the very least, and thats how we will do business now, and in the future. Thats our commitment.

And, for what it's worth, the real Britt also flew F27's.

Britt Airways

Funny to see the references to Britt. I was with them in STL from '85-'87 on the ramp and in ops. It was quite a large regional - seems odd that there's web sites about it.

My first airline job - what a great time!

They were out of Terre Haute, IN. Flew Metros. Got swallowed up into Continental Express about the same time Rocky Mountain in Colorado did.
That is correct. CONEX swallowed-up Britt sometime in the late-'80s, while Uncle Frank was in charge, at the same time it purchased Trans Colorado and Bar Harbour, etc.

Britt had a bunch of ORD slots and a pretty big operation there in the '80's. They flew ratty '99's, Metro I's and II's and ex-OZ FH-227's.

They did start in DNV before moving to tap into the large traffic base in Terre Haute... ;) TC

O......I have to say, I dont think their is anything more pathetic, than a bunch of middle aged men sitting on a computer throwing down everyone else's plans.

I am a member of the Rochester city council. Brittain Koball, who is running this project, came and spoke to the untire board. They approved his plan with flying colors, and he is in the process of gaining funds, and I can guarantee you, he has made more money in 1 month than anyone of you guy's make in a year!!! The untire city backs him. I also thought it was funny that "TY WEBB" listed this young man as someone who hasn't discovered girls yet, and is picked on in school!!!! I have to say, you must be the dumbest, and most ignorant man walking this planet. Get a life man!!! He is a linebacker for the Mayo Football team, a third basemen for Mayo Baseball, and I am pretty sure he is well liked, being that he holds some of the biggest parties in town, and I know because my son goes to them, and so do about 300 other kids!!!!!

And I would also like to address the lawn care business everyone in this forum seems to be poking fun at. Britt showed me his financial records and bank statements, and his lawn company made over $7,600 in 2 months, $6,500 of which, was pure profit.

All I can say, is this city knows and loves this young man, and backs him, and people left and right are putting money into this airline. He is going places, but you loser men who sit on your PC's and right in these forums are stopped dead in your tracks. Get a life!!

A 727 pilot with 23,500hrs, who is working with Britt, saw this, and sent me an email because he said it was comical and I needed to look. He was right.

I guess young Britt found flightinfo. :)
