Brickyard declared an emergency yesterday at LGA. I think it was a Midwest Express flight. Any info?
 
Airplanes declare emergencies all the time, the world's an imperfect place.
 
Well, I happen to know all the facts. I have a friend in the training department there, and he told me that a FA got stuck in the isle between two seats, when she was bending over to prove to her coworkers that she really could see her feet, regardless of how big her gut was.
 
I heard the crew had to change their pants after finding out that the Frontier pilots walked out after refusing paycuts and they get to fly their Airbuses!
 
I think the crew couldnt remember what was actually painted on the side of the aircraft and didnt want to get it wrong, it could have been a Delta, United, Continental, American, USAIR, Frontier, Midwest, Midwest express, or one of their own brands and imagine if they said the wrong name to the pax, no credibility!

On a serious note hopefully everything was ok.

Republic=The New MESA=

Is Republic is deadheading Midwest and Frontier guys (positive space on United)?

Is Republic still fueling their white aircraft at United/Delta gates and taxi the aircraft to a Midwest/Republic gate?

Things to come...Delta and United to cancel their contracts with republic !!!

They are on Airways/Airways Express. See them all the time on PHL-MKE and CLT-MKE. Sucks, since it makes it harder for our own non-revs to get to work/home.

Fuel is reimbursed to RAH monthly on a perflight bases. Keep trying. Normally how many different fuel vendors are at an airport?

If you see it call dispatch and discuss. They will get USAirways ops on the phone and pull them off the flight. This is NOT APPROVED. I did it, took a delay of approx 50 mins going PHL to MKE with 2 Republic FA's "deadheading" to cover a Midwest Express flight from MKE-LAS the next morning.

USAirways was pissed and this went up to some pretty high levels because I got a phone call about it sometime around 2 weeks later. Give it a shot. They will get removed 100% of the time. They have NO business deadheading to MKE out of PHL. Speak up, it is the only way to make it stop.

Call was between our crew, our dispatch, republic scheduling AND USAirways operations in Pittsburgh. Long story short, we got three nonrevs on and left the Republic FA's behind. USAirways was pissed. Our dispatchers did a great job getting the right people on the phone. Nice when a plan comes together.

Thanks. Wouldn't be an issue except we had some FA's (who at the time were NOT allowed to ride on RJET per their flight attendant recip. agreement) trying to get home. It was a load of crap and USAirways was pissed. I think that Republic has stopped doing thi since then because I don't see it happening anymore.

Remember most of the mesa pilots are there because they couldn't make it to any other airline. The rest are still hoping to transfer to West Coast flying so that they can get some of that sweet koolaid produced in PHX. This is straight from someone that works there, so it's proof positive.

I really hope you're kidding, because if you believe what one person says as proof and fact....Give me a call. I have a lot of facts to tell you. Even might have pictures of a airline managements wife naked.....in bed....with me.... and her girlfriend......and her daughter took the pictures.....while her twin sister video taped the whole thing......and her friend kept enough carrots on set to feed the mule.......while JO's wife chased the greased pig around the room, trying to catch it........because Richard A. just put new carpet in the bedroom.....where John Pr. wife was hog tied in the corner with an apple stuck in her mouth.....she was just to heavy to pick up and move.....the pool boy got to play with her..........poor Pueblo.

It wasn't a movie. Most likely you walked past the maids quarters, they do a live showing showing every Monday, Wednesday, Friday night and twice on Saturday.
