Take the above and throw in some psychotic management and the seemingly-requisite backstabbing co-worker you inevitibly run into. If you can navigate THAT minefield, you'll probably get where you think you want to be.

Sounds like a 121 operation to me.

Flyby- Where are you living now? Would a part-time job at the airport be a possibility? Maybe flight instruction? Never know who you will meet.
The fractionals would be a good avenue as well. And, given the glacial pace of the corporate hiring process honoring a contract should be no problem.
Cheers- rum

Currently living in the PSM area, flight instructing would be great but my current 121 gig doesnt allow flying on the side per our contract. I could still do it and just personally keep track of my 100hr/mo limit, but I am usually flying 90+hrs 121, so.... gets tricky. I might see about part-time FBO jobs as a way to make contacts, any job in particular that has more exposure to the corp pax/crews?

Does Bombardier fly out of KBDL? I'm not sure what the job is like or how far you're willing to get from PSM, but I see postings for Bombardier once in a while.

Yeah, that's why I said few really good jobs in ANY segment these days.

Snowback--BBD has been discussed here a while back. I think any demo pilot job is a good stepping stone to one of those really good jobs. I've heard there have been some personality conflicts in the BBD department in the past. Still a good opportunity for someone not yet ready to declare it "THE" job. JMO. TC

I think I've heard that about BBD before. It's easy to understand however, how one would not consider THAT demo job one of "THE" jobs. This is coming from a Savannah based pilot though;).

Trust me my friend it is possible. I worked at a regional, decided the airlines were not for me, and took a 135 job that kept me at home. I spent about a year and a half there and got a preatty cush corp job..
