Mike Colgan announced today that he is stepping down as President of Colgan Air and will be accepting a position with Pinnacle Air Holdings as an officer in their marketing and product division. Buddy Casey of will be the new president and general manager of Colgan Air. Interesting times we live in...Stay tuned for details as they happen. Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Over here at Pinnacle we know Buddy Casey VERY well. Watch your backs, fellas. This guy is NOT your friend. He absolutely hates pilots.

Gee, didn't see that one coming. [/sarcasm]

Good luck, guys. Buddy Casey is a grade-A scumbag.

You guys are so screwed. We used to call him the buddy f*cker here at PCL. He will make you think he is your friend then he puts the screws to you when you're not looking.

Here is Buddy's career progression:

- Frank Lorenzo era Eastern
- Express One International
- Gulfstream Airlines
- Pinnacle Airlines
- Colgan Airlines

Not very impressive indeed! Someone with 30 years of airline management experience should be be doing much better for themselves.

Good Luck Colgan Kids!

You've already done the hard part of his job--making sure there is no union on property to balance the abuses you will soon receive.

I would laugh if it weren't so sad. That 2% isn't looking so expensive now, is it?

There is a guy on FI.com that flew at a couple of these airlines. I think he flew at PCL and GIA....would he be the same caliber of person of this scum bag Buddy Casey?

Probably at the Rite-Aid stocking up on lube...

Can't afford astroglide on CJC FO pay...hope those imitation butter packets from KFC do the trick!

HOLYSHIZZZZZZIT..........There goes the neighborhood. Where were those 4 votes when you needed them.

Hey any of you 9E guys remember the attempted repeal of 'synthetic credit'? Sooner or later Colgan pilots are going to strengthen.

God, I hope so, for their sakes. This guy Casey is a world-class scumbag. I cannot tell you how many times he simply lied to us. He will sit there, nod his head, give you every indication that he agrees with you, and walks out of the room determined to slide it right up your fundament. This guy would not know the truth if it came in the room and introduced itself.

I wish he would bring over Pumpkin-Head, Barney and a few of the check airmen who have their noses right up FF's rear-end. Then, we might get something done around here.

Do I sense a new candidate airline to replace ASA with the thread of the day? (That is if the ASA TA gets passed.)

I think he was pretty deep in at Eastern.

So much for everyone pounder their chest and talking about a "family-run" business that will take care of you.

Good luck, you'll need it.

That's just f...in wonderful. What a dou..bag. Where are the 4 votes now. The non-voters will find out the hard way.

I met the guy.....slimy, he tried to tell me how uncle phil was actually under paid and that the big stock options he just exercised was a good start to getting him on par with other CEO's! :puke:

he kinda reminds me of "red" (father on that 70's show)
