Perhaps you were even a "flute the nube" baby?

I think the whole nation should do it....

Anyway, use your head peeps. So you don't buy gas on the 19th...so what? You are still going to drive the same amount that day and on the 20th you are going to fill your tanks up with the same amount that you would have on the 19th, plus your regular burn on the 19th. Overall, you used the same amount of gas and paid the same to the fuel companies.
Pointless.

Have you driven a Ford, lately? We have a loaded 04 Focus PZEV ( Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle ) which we bought for less than $13,000 and her next vehicle will be the hybrid Escape, a medium sized SUV. GM has a hybrid truck on the market.BLUE BAYOU said:If US automakers would get on the ball and come up with some fuel efficient/alternative fuels vehicles-- The Japanese have viable hybrids on backorder, yet the US automakers are still lagging behind....,

It is not that US manufacturers are lagging behind, but that US Buyers are not buying fuel efficient vehicles when the cost of fuel still does not justify the increased purchase price of a hybrid vehicle.
The hybrid Escape is a much better vehicle than a Toyota Prius. But most tree huggers seem to prefer an inferior foriegn make.
US buyers should take a look around their domestic dealer's lots. We made the jump from Hondas, Mazdas and Porshes to Ford a couple of years back and not only are the Fords less expensive, they have much beter customer seervice and seem to just last forever.
Hydrogen is probably a billion dollar mistake for GM. Fuel cells are nifty, but where we going to get the electricity to make all the H2? Burning fossil fuels to generate watts used to make H2 is inefficient & polluting.
