So I decided that while visiting Maui this September that I would like to take a jump over to HNL for some sightseeing. I did some sniffing around and found that the prices on routes between OGG and HNL are all around $39 thanks to Mesa.

I had three options for that price: Hawaiian, Aloha, and of course Go!
It was a toss up between Hawaiian and Aloha so I booked with Hawaiian.

All I have to say is it felt great to give the shaft to Go! I know I can sleep better tonight. ;)

Hell, I'm a Mesa employee, and if the ticket prices were the same (and if I had to buy one), I'd pick Aloha or Hawaiian in a heartbeat.

Fact is though, those fares WOULDN'T be $39 bucks, or even close to it, if Go! wasn't out there peeing in the pool. So if you're bragging about bagging the $39 fare, you really ought to THANK go.

Not something I'd really brag about.
