Oh Please,

I saw your name and a short story about you, written on the bathroom wall in the crew lounge area. You should go check it out!

Is it true that you have a Delta interview coming up?

Ok, for the record, I have not ONCE agreed with OhPlease on this board (other than his assertion that I am, sometimes, an a-hole). However, he is one of the very few people on this board who has been willing to associate his God-given name with his opinions here. Even though I generally disagree with him, I do respect his willingness to step out from behind the screen name and own up to his opinions. I wouldn't do it, so I think it takes a lot of guts. It certainly does not warrant being maligned by yet another anonymous person on a bathroom wall in Atlanta.

Until we start a thread where we are all willing to post our names along with our screen names, I think OhPlease deserves a bit of a pass. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely disagree with the man when it comes to ALPA, negotiations, and the industry in general, but I think it's sad when we are willing to make personal assaults on a man who has the guts to identify himself on a public forum. For that, AG, you have my respect.

Signed,
Anonymous (just like the rest of you)

I'm sure this doesn't matter when it comes to this Delta order, but SkyWest just received their first actual 90 seater yesterday. N814SK. My guess is, this will be, or already has been, RFP'd. Most likely flying to get split between SkyWest and ASA out of CVG/ATL/LAX.

What are you talking about, "first actual 90 seater"? Is it configured for 86 seats? That would be a scope no-no in the Delta system.

No wonder why airline management always wins.... Look at you guys squabbling with each other - blaming each other and calling each other names like 5th graders..

I'm not bashing the Delta or Connection pilots - every pilot group is like this. Look at AA and AE, USAir and Piedmont...

At some point you would think that we would smarten up and realize that we are all in this TOGETHER....

ok, i'll get off my soapbox.... you may now continue with the dismantling of a once great career.

I dont know why you guys are all arguing, we all know that Pinnacle Corp has already been awarded all of these jets and is giving them to Pinnacle Inc.

More like first actual 76-seater

XPOO

Not sure what you mean. SkyWest has been operating the CRJ900's that were taken from ASA's pre aquisition firm orders for months now. You probably have not seen them because they park in Atlanta at ASA leased gates performing flying once performed by ASA.
