I read somewhere that several dozen of the same variant and time frame were found to have no fatigue issues. These were the same SWA variants albeit at other airlines. Seems to point to something in the SWA magic. Not to mentiom, they've been heavily fined last time it happened. Maybe its just coincidental, huh.

SWA owns appx. 80 of the 82 airframes that were in question. There were 5 found with sub-surface cracks.

The fines we paid a few years back were for a breach that we discovered and self-disclosed, if you recall. Not coincidental at all because they are not relevant at all to this case.
 
ah yes but remember these incidents happened when General Lee was choking pablum down his mom/sister (one and the same) back...and dreaming of flying for Mesa..
