Unbelievable that UPS hired a BlowJet pilot. Guess this dispells the myth that anyone getting on there is doomed. If this is what it takes to get on with UPS then sign me up.

I truley hope that the picture you have in your is not of the guy that was killed in El Paso by getting sucked into the motor. If it is, you my friend have real PROBLEMS.

Yes

h25b............But always lowlife whores... And when they look in the mirror, they can easily see that they were said whores... You cannot ever wash that out of their smell......Sell out your "brothers" once, there is no way to wash it out....Pray for their career failure......And yours....

I guess this is a testament to how shallow and misplaced your prayers are. Mine usually stick to the basics... You know, things like my childrens'/family's health, those less fortunate, Colts winning the Superbowl (not this year), hope for the future, etc...

Gee, and I'm the one who's supposed to get a life... ???

I do need to get back to work, haven't flown in a couple weeks.

Agreed!

The union does not hire, management does. So whoever has the info needs to make sure the Union at UPS knows what kind on individual has just been hired. Once that happens things will take care of themselves. I am sure the guys at UPS care about who is supposed to be watching their backs.

I quick read of the ALPA Master Scab list reveals that they already have quite a few true scabs...

"thatsux",

Keep typing. Maybe, someday, you'll randomly type something semi-intelligent.

I am not a fan of over-moderation of the forums, but if ever there was a case for booting someone, this is it. The photo and choice of handle is less than humorous and shows total disregard for the memory of someone who died on the job. Absolutely sick and classless. We really don't need dic*holes like this.

That pretty much sums up the anti-GJ lobby. Zero substance & 100% teenage BS...

I think that anyone counting on the UPS pilot group to give one whit about a pilot coming from GJ is going to be sorely disappointed.

You just wait, I predict that a lot of GJ quick upgrades will make it before some 6-year Eagle FO will.

Look out for yourself, because the union 'brotherhood' could care less.

If it is true, I wouldn't be surprised.....

First, the UPS pilots have their own union and their union has lots of schnutz, unlike ALPA.

Second, the pilot in question was probably a highly qualified furloughee from another major with lots of experience. That appeals to UPS more than the fact that a bunch of whiners with no idea what they are talking about are screaming that the new guy is a scab. The UPS guys know what a true scab is and the last picket line was Comair. Further, it takes a lot of internal recs for a job at UPS and they will take the opinion of one of their own as fact rather than the eternal tear shedding routinely seen on this board.

With people like "thatsux" as your company I don't think I need say too much more... Of course though he's already changed his avatar to try and salvage whatever is left of his credibility.

Wow, I'm suprised nobody has even thought to question just how accurate the information in this thread is. Instead, everybody believes the info by somebody who just registered this month.

While I don't doubt that GJ captains will find employment elsewhere, I for one will believe this story when I read it on AirUPSers...
