Giime a break Fin Up. No one here is giving away national security. Other than some rubber stamped deal that they gave you in the USN, your knowledge of national security is no better than what you get off of FOX news.

I guess you can honestly make that claim based upon all the classified briefings you've sat in on...

Stop the chest thumping as it's making you look like a fool. The only retard here is guys like you. Hey here is a new one for you. How about Clay Lacy flying covert missions for the CIA in their B727. You are a another excuse for the reasons that we are failing in the new world order. Instaed of being a no BS outfit you dik heads hide under some Hollywood banner of how tough you are. Give us all a break since most of us know you have never fired a shot in your life, especially if your nothing more than P3 pilot. PLEASE, cut us some slack. The joke is in your hand.

First, I've known a few of P3 dudes who've had their chance to put their a** on the line. To paint him as "nothing more than a P3 pilot" just magnifies your ignorance!!! What the hell have you done that is worth a dang to sit here and criticize anyone???

Do you know what they (Blackwater) are planning to do, or already doing with the B767-200ER they bought about a year ago? I know it's top secret. I think I know but just was trying to confirm.

While we're at it... Anyone know what's up at the Y-12 nuclear weapons plant at Oak Ridge, specifically the storage of nuclear weapons triggers and timers, and the quantity of enriched uranium and Pu-239 on site? I know it's top secret. I think I know but just was trying to confirm.

Spooky,
I will comment one last time and then I will wash my hands of you and fart in your general direction.

I am by no means an OPSEC nazi. I know what goes on with sensitive info... most of the time people play by the rules and have the integrity to handle such info properly. Others have good intentions but may get careless from time to time. And then there are others (like you) that have a complete disregard for the system. You spout off information that you shouldn't in the hopes of making yourself appear really important to others and then you chastise those of us who try reel you back in. Your defense basically amounts to the immature playground argument of "everyone else is doing it". You are an embarrassment to yourself and the worst part is that you don't even know it. No one is doing any chest thumping and the only fool here is you. Have you noticed that not a single person has joined your crusade against me, Fins or Harry? Probably cause they know you are on the wrong side of the issue and would also be fools if they were to defend your position.

I am well aware that you have not jeopardized any national security secrets in your post, but I still can't believe that anyone who has ever held a TS clearance would ask a question that contained the phrase "I know it's top secret, but..." and then have the stupidity to post it on an internet message board. Even if the information has been compromised in the past or goes on in the open, it doesn't make it okay to discuss it. You act as though you are the final authority of what should be classified and what shouldn't... and that's incredibly irresponsible. If that makes me an OPSEC nazi in your eyes then so be it.

Also, as a fellow P-3 pilot I can also confirm that you are ignorant in what you think you know about us. I have over 3000 hours in that bird. The first 2000 hours were pretty much as you described it. The last 1000 I've flown since the GWOT started and you couldn't be further from the truth about the contribution of that aircraft to the mission... but that's just me thumping my chest. I guess you must have missed that Top Secret brief. Probably a good thing as the strippers down at your local club will be kept out of the loop.

I feel dumber for having just read through an anatomy measuring contest between individuals trying to argue who knows more about classified subjects.

Been there and done that.

I've been there and done that more.

Nu-uh!

Yuh-huh!

I know more secret things than you!

I'm classified top secret times ten, no touchies!

Funny thing is, folks who are privy and who do hold the clearance(s) aren't dumb enough to discuss it here, or to argue who knows more (or less).

I know something you don't know but I can't tell you because I'd have to kill your children and sell what's left into slavery in a Ugandan doughnut shop, so don't tell anybody about my secret clearance and classified background, evenif they are listening in on this semi-public forum, okay?

Crikey guys. Grow some professionalism.

Military flying

Spooky, I am sure my next-door neighbor and his crew felt the same way when they were shot down and killed in a P-3 on April 1st, 1968 while flying a Market Time Mission. BTW the Blackwater is white world company who have a web site. I know a pilot who when to work for them last year, a retired Army pilot.

avbug,
I think I too am dumber for reading your post. A post from a guy who complains about everyone and their brother tossing in their two cents and then proceeds to do the exact same thing. Thanks for the your contribution and the hypocrisy. Now please return to your throne your highness.

Was that a P-3 shot down or a C-121(Connie)? Referring to 1968 that is.
What is white world?
I take it Blackwater has donned Air America's mantle. Whoever has the balls to go take on those kind of missions is deserving of respect.

scareface, the C-121 was shot down by the Korean's in Apr of 69, the P-3B belonged to VP-26 out of Brunswick, Maine and it went down April 1, 1968. White world is real, no undercover, nothing hidden, Blackwater may do some things they don't talk about, but the company is real.

I'm slighty familiar with the story and as I recall the AC got the Medal of Honor for it. I do not recall them being shot down so maybe I'm thinking of another P3 story. In any case, nice job and he and his crew have all my respect.

Guys, I guess I just got off on the wrong foot here. It was either insulting you, you mothers, or kicking the cat. The damn cat scrathes and hisses at me when I do that, so I took you on instead. My most sincere apologies as no harm was intended. It was kind of fun though for awhile. My real interest in the Blackwater Boeing was strictly from a maintenance point of view.

If you need another cat to kick, you can have mine. I keep trying to get the dogs to eat him but it doesn't work.

Okay, all cleaned up from that. New plane, new day.

No hard feelings. You can kiss my sister now.

Well, since you've calmed down- I applied for a flying job at Blackwater a while back. The HR person made it sound like there was nothing secret about the 767 ops. IIRC, she told me that it was used for employee movements and charter ops; nothing 'interesting.' I was interested in flying the CASA for them; that sounds like an adrenaline rush.

I have a CNWDI clearance and the answer to all of those questions is in a room down the hallway from me. I have absolutely zero curiosity on the subject. In fact, I've never been in the room. If I ever enter the room, I will have to purge my memory cells with massive quantities of cold liquid refreshments.
