Allegiant doesn't do hubs, certainly not against United. It would be a gigantic philosophical paradigm shift for them to consider such a transaction.
 
I probably would have written your post this way:

Managment has verified Allegiant is not buying Frontier.

See the difference there? The way you first wrote it implies it is cold hard fact. In my experience with different management in the past, just because they say it, it isn't cold hard fact. :p

Been at Allegiant a while now and would be extremely shocked if we ever purchase another airline. It just isn't how things work around here. The planes are just a way to sell hotels, rental cars and drinks. Expansion is based purely on profit and avoiding competition so acquiring another carrier just wouldn't make sense.
 
Unless they buy the airline and redistribute the planes on Allegiant routes. Also too many pilots per plane at Frontier now that Allegiant wouldnt need (about half). But Allegiant wont buy another airline.
