Hey, all kidding aside, this is not going to be good for the 50 seaters.......The days of DL paying the gas bills are probably going to come to a screeching halt.

The 50 seaters are a money loser.

Its not going to be pretty.

...........or a flowthrough.........

.....actually we already have that.....about a hundred ASA pilots have already taken advantage of it in the past year....

Those who want to "flowup" can.....I just don't want the flushback......

....on this we agree.....we wouldn't have so many 50 seaters if it hadn't been for the scope clauses that drew a line at 50 seats.....That was a huge mistake....

....We will see more 70-90 seaters and hopefully more turboprops......

I assume the RJs are ComAir...so can DAL furlough a ComAir guy or park a ComAir jet? I'll admit that I'm completely ignorant of what ComAir's relationship is with Delta these days.

You rag on DL all day long but don't even have a clue about our operation. There was not a single correct statement in what you just wrote.

Additionally, there is no "flow up" from any Delta Connection carrier as JoeMerchant implied, only preferential interviewing.

I have heard that Anderson is not a fan of 50 seat RJ's... I hope this comes to fruition with this plan. There are just way too many of them around widgetland.

....what's the difference? ASA pilots are flowing up....they are interviewing and getting hired at the bottom of the list....

The only difference is that if mainline pilots get furloughed they can't bump me back.....it's a win/win.......

There are several carriers operating rj's

Comair (wholly owned)
ASA
Skywest
Chataqua
Republic

I'm sure I'm missin one.....

Mesa, XJT, and PNCL....actually just about everyone is operating RJs for Delta......where is that Brand Scope (BS)........
