When all you have had to eat in the last 24 hours was FBO popcorn or came from the "wheel of death", Taco Palenque is the best. Plus it is the only fast food joint I have been that serves margaritas till 0300 am.

Land at 2am, put the plane to bed, then head over for some tacos and beer. If there were one here in Florida, it would put any taco joint out of biz in a 10 mile radius. Thats about the only thing I miss in LRD.

The only thing that was maybe a substitue, was Dannys.

Palenque es muy bueno! Their is only one other place I can think of with better Mexican food in McAllen, but they are not open late http://www.casadeltacorgv.com/. Palenque is the best fast food in the Rio Grande Valley.
