In your opinion, what was the best Thread of all times on this site? Example: "Diarrhea in a Freighter"; "Best Flight Attendant".

Terri is dead was the most highjacked.

I liked the "Where in the World is General Lee" thread. I was in the South Pacific with my wife darnit! I was gone for 2 weeks.......

Bye Bye--General Lee

Huge;

You P-3 guys are more nasty and spiteful than an ugly chick scorned. I make the point, to the uninformed AF and civilian masses, that the P-3 community is the only tactical USN airplane that doesn’t land on the boat, and you non-quals get all pissy. Pardon my candor.

My first experience with P-3 ‘poseurs’ was watching a couple of them in action as they tried to work the NAS Oceana Happy Hour guests, hearing them tell the chicks how they did low level bombing runs on subs, in between cashing big per diem checks. The TacAir guys just sat back and laughed. The P-3 guys ended up going ugly, late.

After I experienced my first disassociated P-3 guy on the Kennedy, my opinion was confirmed. He hated the boat and was the biggest whiner and complainer I ever met. He never had a good word to say during the entire cruise. The guy simply didn’t like operating. He really wanted his shore-based billet back, along with the per diem checks. The other I have met along the way have not been too much different.

Au contraire Huge, thank you for playing.

Dave, I thought I was everyone's favorite punching bag, but it really is you. That thread about you in the Navy Seals was hillarious.

Hey Pal, you need to deflate your ego. No one gives a crap about "landing on the boat". If they do, reread the first sentence. It's all about attitude, and who your rigged to fly with for four or so days. Personally, I wouldn't want your type serving me coffee.
You dishonor the name Dave and the name Griffin.

Dave-man. Peter Griffin

You are right

furloughfodder,

You're right. The Duke Elegant thread was the best ever -- without a doubt in my mind.

And for more about the Duke's fantastic life, visit the avcanada and pprune boards.

At least that time a C-130 puke didn't have to take your mom home ....

I kid!

I'm just kidding!

Dude it is a joke!
The only thing I know about P3's is that the motors are on upside down, but I suspect they don't like being around you and your USS Kennedy sized ego. I have no idea what your background is (your profile is even more vague than mine!) but the quaility of the pilot (or soldier/sailer/airmen) is rairly related to the hardware operated. In fact the most dedicated, cut throat, patriotic, and selfless airmen I've known were rotor heads, and no one gives them any credit at all.

Peace.
