at expressjet we have a few gsp commuters here at ewr...ive been told the commute is pretty easy .....flights can be full at times but we usually run the 145lr or 145xr (which means you will rarely see a weight restriction) so its not that hard to get to work..you can always 2 leg it through clt.

Comair has a GSO base and is hiring.

However, if you can get a charter/corporate job in the GSO area, take it! The hiring at Comair is due to higher than expected attrition (due to bankruptcy), not growth. The company says they're hiring 36 pilots.

Much of the attrition is pilots going to JB, SW or NJ. I interview at NJ later this month and hope to increase that number.

If one gets hired at Comair now, there's no telling how long they will be in the right seat and on reserve.

Good luck...fly safe!
