Me: 1986 Ford Escort WAGON, it's even gold baby! Started new as my grandmother's, it has 39000 original miles on it. I will drive it until the wheels fall off.

Her: 2002 VW Golf, been a great car and it was a steal. $13K brand new

2004 Rx-8

2004 Mazda RX-8. Black/Black. It's fun to drive, handles great and the rotary engine redlines at 9000 RPM, so turn off the Bose and listen to the RPM's.

I drive a 1993 300ZX thats racked up about 95,000 miles, and my wife drives a 2000 Toyota 4Runner. Both paid for thank goodness.

But who cares, everyone knows that its not about whats in the parking lot... it's about whats waiting for you on the tarmac that counts!

I'm a certified money-waster when it comes to cars:

Mama drives a new Infiniti FX35, my airport car is a 2002 GMC Sonoma and the car in the Avatar is an '88 5-speed S4 with some goodies under the hood. Hey, the kids don't need no stinking inheritance anyway!

Cheers
You forgot the part that you are 40year old looser still living at your parents!!

1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 here. Bulletproof design, holds everything I could ever need, gets decent mpg, can go from interstate-offroad trails on 5 seconds, can handle a unplowed road with 2 feet of snow, is comfy enough for long trips, can tow jetskis, need I say more? It has to be one of the most versatile vehicles ever made. It'll always it around.

Future vehicles:

2004+ Jeep Liberty, not as nice as the Cherokee but once the Cherokee starts needing repairs the Liberty will become the daily driver.

2006+ Ford Mustang Cobra . Love the new body style, and figure it should be well over 400HP stock from the factory if the rumors are true. Jet black with silver racing stripes and 18 inch chromes wheels with black leather interior.

2004+ F150 FX4 Supercrew 4x4. Love the new styling, handling, and its a great overall truck. Getting this one in Red with black interior with the captains chairs and every option.

 CDV= Coupe de Ville

My avatar is the car I drive a 1972 Cadillac Coupe de Ville
with a 472 Cubic Inch(=7.7L) engine with a mild cam and a 28 gallon gastank.
Does about 8mpg the way I seem to drive....:D can smoke the tires with the best of'em....

I cant wait till they come out with the "Snoop De Ville" (2006)

serious pimp ride.

A buddy has a '03 Camaro SS, very nice and extremely fast. Over 300hp at the rear wheels and 28mpg on the highway with the 6-speed.

I used to drive a '98 Dodge Ram Quadcab 4x4 with the 5.9, then traded that for a '00 Dakota Club Cab 4x4 with the "Magnum V-6" that couldn't get out of its own way with the 4-speed auto and got less in-town mileage than the V8 Ram. I eventually bowed before the mighty OPEC and traded the Dakota for a '99 Nissan Maxima SE. Great highway car (29+MPG) and quick around town; it'll smoke any Volvo S60 on the street:D I also have a '97 Kawasaki Ninja 500 that gets awesome mileage and has the sport bike look, without the sport bike insurance cost (or sport bike performance:o) I'd love to upgrade to the R6 in the avatar, but I have my eye on a 2003 Suzuki SV650S thats slightly more broke-ass CFI friendly.

I'm hoping I can pick up an '05 GTO when I get hired and upgrade in 4-6 years. God bless GM for bringing back rear drive, V8-powered cars.

Hehe kind of a small point, but 02 was the last year of production for the Camaro and the Firebird so he probably has an 02. Everything else you said is rignt on the money (I'm a big GM performance freak). :)

Beaters...

My airport car in TOL is a 92 Chevy Camaro V6. I just traded my home car, a Ford Escort for a 2004 Ford F150 SuperCrew Lariat. Wifey drives a 2004 Toyo Sienna. I told her as son as my son went to Kindergarten and I did not have to pay 560.00 month for daycare I wuz getting a truck. When my daughter gets out of daycare I'll get the boat :D

Too bad you have no torque or HP. I would love to race you and show you a real car.

I drive a 1981 Bonneville that has been in three accidents. I should put three Jap flags on the side as I have totalled 3 Toyota'a with it. It has 187,000 miles on it, does not use any oil and can go over 100. My son claims he got it faster than that but it became aerodynamically unstable. A/C gave up the ghost a few years ago but it still keeps trucking. My son, wife, and daughter have all the nice new air-conditioned cars. At least no one in my family asks me for my keys.

Hey RJ#1,

What's a 40 year old looser? If the word you're looking for is LOSER, I suggest you look in the mirror for an example.

I drive a 1991 Pontiac Trans-Am with about 95K miles and the usual stock parts.

It's OK, I don't really need a good car anyway.

RSVM you must be one rich mofo to afford a car like that....

Any secrets as to how you made enough mulah to afford that in this industry?

BMW 325ci convertable great performance car just got it a few months ago Turns a lot of heads when the tops down I'm young so the chicks dig it. Seems like every other stop light I pull up to I get a huge smile or a hi from the chick next to me. I splurged by getting one but I'm glad I did I only wish I was single to take full advantage of it.

A Jeep 4X4, V-8, great sound system.

Everything else about it is irrelavent because...you know...it's a Jeep. Owned plenty of other cars before, won't ever own anything else.

Mav,

If you keep going overboard with your posts, people will catch on that you're only pulling our legs.

Just relax a bit, most people actually believe what you write about your Beech 1900 and TAB Express stuff.

Don't ruin it.

Oops! I prob misunderstood him, he and his father have owned F-bodies for years. They'd certainly know the cars, with all the brakes and intakes and what not on them. Regardless, I'm still waiting for him to race a 'busa in the quarter:D

An Audi A4...but I doubt it'll be with me long, I think it'll be sold to fund the rest of whatever I need/want to do to get to where I wanna go. What a S**t!
