Is the realflight rc sim fun for kids or any other suggestions? MSFS was a no go but they seemed to enjoy the rc deal at the hobby store but it was close to $200. Thanks!

I was going to mirror the recommendation. My one regret as a parent was allowing to many video games into the house.

This is for a 7 year old that likes rc stuff. He doesn't want to be a pilot because we work on Christmas and his birthday.

Look at Phoenix RC sim. Around $175 with a 5 channel controller if you decide to do the real thing. Comes with free updates for life, unlike RealFlight.

Why would you get him interested in flying? You must not like him very much. You should get him interested in a more profitable career by letting him play Grand Theft Auto.

There is a "commercial pilot" ranking in that game.

Aerofly by IPACS. Only one that's Mac native, they also have windows versions. Best one out there.

Peace.

Buy him a BB gun, a sling shot, a Rambo knife, some nails and a hammer and lumber; and tell him only dorks (like General Lee) play video games.
