Can you pls describe what benefits are offered at jetBlue, and how much they cost for individual/family coverage.

Thank you, idriver

It's B6 BTW...

I pay about 350 a month for my medical insurance. I have a wife and two kids with pretty good coverage. It's a PPO with a $500 familiy deductible. Copays are pretty low if you stay in network.

Dental and vision are much lower deductions, and I don't remember the number right now.

Last I checked, there are no copays for doctor visits. Anything other than a wellness check, you have to pay up to the deductible. Wellness visits are at no cost. The prescription medicines are quite cheap compared to my previous company.

If you do some checking compared to other airlines we have the worst LTD, STD, and LOL in the industry. I wish they would fix that.

Do you get LTD, life insurance, vision, personal accident with that cost?

Here's the right answer :)

Company provides 100K of Basic life and 100K of AD&D. No cost to you You can buy more if you wish.

Company provides Long Term Disability. No cost to you.

Vision is $2.69 a paycheck for singles, $5.09 with one dependant, $8.01 for whole family.

LTD at no cost to you! WOW! What does that get you?

At CO I pay a $150/mo for LTD, that coverage is 50%net pay to age 60. (aprox, 85K/yr).

From the benifits book:

JetBlue provides LTD insurance to all full-time crewmembers at no cost. The LTD plan pays a monthly benefit equal to 60% of your average earnings, up to a maximum monthly benefit of $15,000 per month.

To be eligible for benefits, you must be disabled for 180 days. Benefits will start on the 181st day of your disability and will continue for 24 months, as long as you are unable to work in your regular occupation. Payments will continue after 24 months if you are unable to work in any gainful occupation until your normal Social Security retirement age or until your disability ends (if earlier). The long term disability plan also has a pre-existing condition clause.
