How does one go about becoming an ASC? It seems to be harder to find on the net than I'd think. What are the requirements (and benefits) and such?

Thanks all....

I was able to find application forms and such, but nothing that really talks about what all is involved / required / etc

I was an ASC for several years, but quit due to my own schedules. It's a volunteer duty, in which you help arrange safety seminars and other activities through the safety program manager.

Jedi Nein on this site is, or at least was, a very active ASC in her area, and would probably be a very good source of information for you.
