Heck, I'd bid BBJ FO if I had the opportunity. Why not? You likely won't fly anything that big or spacious for the rest of your career there unless you start getting into the sports team market, etc. Why not get some BBJ time? You can fly Falcons and Gulfstreams for the rest of your career. You may spend time at FBOs, but they are probably nice FBOs in desireable places I would imagine. Plus, no TEB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But he's getting a free 737 type rating, though. I'd be curious to know why he wanted to move to the BBJ: does he want more time off, does he just want to fly a BBJ, or does he want the type for something else?

The type is no good its a 737IGWNG or something like that. Basically it only applies to BBJ's
