You know it is interesting to note that poser boy Pacini has enjoyed several instances of being in the limelight in the past few years. In October of 2001, he was actually called as a witness to testify before congress on the impact of flight restrictions on GA immediately following 911: http://www.house.gov/transportation/press/press2001/release133.html

He is also mentioned in this USA Today newstory related to the Daytona 500: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/motor/nascar/2003-02-16-daytona-security_x.htm

For those who have been scammed, if you have an autodialer or telephone forwarder, here is a site with some personal information (telephone numbers):
http://www.freewebs.com/stop-aerialmessages/

EDIT: Here's the link: http://www.flaerialads.com, send in a bogus resume and see what he says.

That add lists an e-mail address - how about we forward him some Nigerian and 419 scam e-mails and use his e-mail addres for to sign up at some internet porn sites. Seeing as a couple friends of mine fell for Pacini's scam number of years ago, and now I am curious. I wonder if it would be possible to scam the scamer by trying to get Pacini to accept one of those forged cashiers checks that you here about as part of Ebay or classified add scams? The scams were the scammer buys something and sends a cashiers check for much more than the purchase amount and requests that the seller cash it and then refund the difference?

Does anybody know who does it in Socal?
There is an operation out of Chino. Can't recall the name. I've watched them doing pickups a few times. Not sure if I could do it. I either lack the balls or just understand too well the implications of stalling the aircraft twenty feet off the deck.

There were several local banner towers that crashed this past season. One ended up inverted in the rocks off the beach, but still walked away.

Where's avbug saying what a great profession towing is?

Aerial messages in Daytona is the biggest scam in aviation. I'm surprised the guy that runs the place hasn't been murdered yet. He's had several airplanes vandelized and I know two guys that died in his unairworthy garbage. If he's still in business... he shouldn't be.

Use this as a last resort for hours. 50 knots at 400' day vfr ain't the most valuable flight time.

http://www.aerialmessages.com/ Looks like he's still in business... what a shame.

"You've got your ratings - now try BANNER TOWING!
Aerial Messages offers a Banner Tow Course which includes a solo endorsement that meets all FAA requirements for normal and emergency procedures in both flight and ground operations.
Aerial Messages is the forerunner in Banner Tow Training and has been for the past eight years.
We are located in sunny Daytona Beach, FL (USA) at Daytona Beach International Airport. For our out-of-town students, hotel accommodation and transportation are available to and from the training classes for an additional fee.
Whether it be a part time job or just a stepping stone towards an airline career, Banner towing is a challenging and fun way to build time and earn money in the process. The pay is excellent!! ($12-$28 per hour depending on where you're working.)
We use Cessna aircraft, which are well maintained and tow only the best banner tow equipment. Aircraft inspections are done every 50 and 100 hours.
As a service to our trainees, we offer job placement assistance and to date have 90% of banner tow school graduates working.
For more details, e-mail [email protected] or give us a call!"

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. THE GUY IS STILL SCAMING PEOPLE. I had heard that he was being indited by the District Attorneys Office in Daytona, but I guess nothing happened there. This is truly amazing that he has'nt been killed or put in jail. Where is Darwin when you need him?
