Any one out there know of anyone that has declared bankruptcy to get rid of these insane loans? Namely the Key Loan? I know it's hopeless to get rid of federal loans, but how about private loans with no co-signer?

Refinance with a line of credit or get a cash advance on a credit card. Refinance a paid for car. Raise cash however you can to pay of the federal loans then dump it all in BK. After you raise the cash wait around a year to file, it is illegal to acumulate debt knowingly prior to fileing BK. Doesn't seem very morale, but BK works for the airlines.

I'm all for personal responsibility, but there is absolutely nothing moral about the credit card industry, lobbyists, and Republicans. As the sage Ice Cube said, "f*ck all y'all."

BK stays on your record for 7 years. Good luck trying to get a house, rent an apartment, buy or lease a car, lower your credit card APR etc..... BK is not the way to go. If you all of a sudden make money they can still get it from you. Just slow down and talk to someone about it. Call Keybank and work it out with them, they should lower your payments. Call a debit help line to see what they can do. Most of the time they will buy your debt and then you will owe them a smaller monthly payment for more years.

Good luck

I see....that bank MADE you charge that crap you cant pay for?

NOT YOUR FAULT.

Pay your bill at the end of the month - you pay nothing. In fact, you kept you money an extra 30+ days in the bank making money (how bout that!).

You see....you can actually MAKE money using credit cards!
