snoopy,

The message that you copied and pasted in this thread has what relationship to the Citibank webpage? I must say that I see no relationship between the two. What am I missing? The window that appears is part of the site so how can an "outsider" retrieve/steal your security sensitive information. The link is the official website, or atleast it appears that way from my perspective..

I would think that if this were to work then it would have to be a manipulated site which this seems not to be..

I just found out if you have a popup stopper active you won't get the SECOND WINDOW that pops up asking for your card number and pin number, turn your pop up stopper off and you'll see the window asking for you card number.

Full Debit Card Number

PIN (4-6 digits, ~ ATM PIN)

Isn't this part of the "official" site though or has this been altered for a third party?

Dude, I'm just posting the Email I got EXACTLY THE WAY it was sent to me.

If citibank sends this to you than go ahead and enter your account number and pin number.

Personally I don't think Citibank is in anyway affiliated with the sender of this message.

snoopy,

I was just trying to figure out how that email relates to the official website and how a third party can get your personal information.. I guess I was expecting something different after reading the message.:D

It's definately not part of the official site.

I typed in bogus info and various other un-pleasantries only to get the following messge

Thank you.

Your E-Mail Address Was
Successful Verified.

TD- your ISP may have been tracked down by typing that information in.:D

I did the same, something is wrong there...

Looks like citibank is on to them, the pop-up doesn't come up anymore, I filled it out 3 times with foul language, maybe they figured the gig was up.:D
