No worries. He's proven who the fool is on several forums.

Thank you for your great and applicable contribution to the thread!

All this means is that a lot of the NCOs and junior enlisted will have to find a new reason to skip out of work 3 hours a day. They won't be able to use the "I'm gonna go take a smoke break" line twice an hour.

I'm sure the crafty ones will be able to find another reason- god bless em.

No. I pay my taxes and vote. I can talk.

Aaaaand that attitude is why everyone hates you. I don't tell your employer how to run your life..... I don't care if you're a tax payer, I am too. We don't work for you either, as much as you think paying taxes gives you any control.

Smoking ban coming, and a possible repeal of don't ask don't tell... I can think of a reason a few of them will split twice an hour!

A ban on smoking starts at the top. CINC are you ready to quit?

"Everyone"? A. Did you take a poll or something or are you just trying to bolster your argument through artificial ad populum. B. I don't care what you or anyone thinks of me. I'd rather speak my mind than to be popular.

I never even implied that paying taxes gives me control. However, I'll say whatever I want and I'll support anything that I want. I only mentioned being a taxpayer because you sanctimoniously said that I have no place to talk....since I wasn't "flying close air support". If you don't like it, tough.

I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke, but this one goes too far...

This reminds me of all the other BIG BROTHER attempts at telling me how to live my life.

I remember when the big stink was porno mags at the BX...

I am so thankful I bailed after 10 years..

Remember SIG is a super badazz internet message board posting fighter pilot. Instead of missiles at migs though he launches insulting replies at anonymous message board posters. His word is law and disagreeing with him could be dangerous.

To be followed by "You can't smoke on the battlefield". This legislation is BS. If you are putting your life on the line you should be able to smoke sixteen packs a day.

nope CINC has different rules, just like different medical coverage than the rest of us once this Health Care Reform is jammed up our butts.

once this Health Care Reform is jammed up our butts.

damn right. If you feel it's up the butt, then you take it. If you don't like it, tough. The more health care is universalized, the better.....unless you think it should only be for those that can afford it.

If I don't like it, I want the option of buying something I like. From what I have heard, that will not be allowed with the gov't run plan. And back to the original post the people who rammed this down our throats will not have to use it. They will have their own gold plated program paid for by you.

Universal healthcare...better? Can you please tell me something that uncle sam has touched that has turned out "better" for us or cheaper??? The "care" will be worse, longer lines, and the national debt will continue to soar thereby bankrupting us as country and then the govt will provide you with something universal....universal misery as a country when they fund nothing.

If you take your attention from the right wing blogs/propaganda for a minute, you might see that you will still have a choice.

That's easy. Administrative costs for Medicare are less than 10% of the health care dollar. In the private sector, over 20% goes to administration vs actual health care.

Long lines, soaring debt etc. sounds like the former USSR. Don't worry, you're paying too much attention to right wing radio. The administration's proposals are nothing like the former Soviet Union and comparing it to such is a gross oversimplification. The current proposals will save more than if we had stayed on our current path.
