I will be vacationing with my family in NAS and have never been there before. Any suggestions on activities or places to eat either at the resort or around town? Also, what kind of prices can we expect to see at these restaurants?

Depending on where you are staying there is a tremendous amount to do. If you are at the Atlantis, it is a given there will be many things to do there. On that side of the island there is a great dive shop Bahama Divers. The best dive shop on the island in our book is Stuarts Cove. For dining you must do the junkanoo at Johnny Canoes. We always recommend touring the Bacardi factory!

Even if you dont stay at Atlantis, make sure you tour it. Walk around the grounds and the hotel. I think you can even use their facilities for a charge. It is pretty impressive. The Cable Beach area is a real nice area. I remember some great restaraunts in the Marriott Cable Beach. They also have a Casino.

Go to the "fish Fry".. Just get a cab and say "Take me to the Fish Fry". You'll be glad you did. It's a bunch of local resturants just outside of downtown. We went after dark and had no problems, but some people avoid the place after sunset.

Oh, there are alot of resturants at the fish fry, I went to the Twin Brothers, supposedly one of the more famous places there. Food was to DIE for.
