Anyone know which engines are on the BAE-146? NOT the Avro RJ's.

Thanks in advance,
JetPilot500

Im not sure which engines were on the 146 but I have heard from a friend that used to fly them that BAE stands for "Bring another engine."

I've always heard both of those called the "only airplane with 5 APU's"

Ah yes, all are very true. One more thing we say is; it's not broke it's British. I fly the RJ85 and it is a great airplane. It has great engine out characteristics and with all things equal, will do a two engine go around. And yes, it's true, we are slow enough to get bird strikes from behind. Hope y'all get a chance to fly on it. It's a great airplane. Fly safe!!
