Sorry if people were offended with the term "gangbang"---I was thinking of it as DL and AA trying to "beat up" Jetblue. I am not from East LA and do not recognize some of these terms like other people. Everyone interprets sayings in different ways I guess. I first tried to change just the title, but could not--so I deleted the thread. I am sorry if it offended anyone.

Not to change the focus of your thread, but did you know you can't rent, "Orgazmo" in Utah. From what I understand, it's illegal due to the name. Is the name really that insulting that it is considered pornographic ??????

The movie was pretty corny, with very little nudity if any at all. True, the content and language is for adults, well, maybe more for immature adults like myself. I personally think they outlawed the flick due to how they protray the Mormon Cult.

My intent was not to offend anyone, and I obviously didn't understand the "street" meaning of the term. My whole point was that AA and DL are now trying to pressure Jetblue in the BOS and NYC regions by offering a free ticket after buying two roundtrips. I got lots of good responses, but then 3/4 the way through I got some complaints. I was just covering my a$$.

I'm really confused. You say you're "not from East LA" so therefore didn't recognize the term in it's sexual connotation, and yet it's in "East LA" and places exactly like it that this term connotes exactly what you claim you WERE referring to; street fighting, beating up, etc.

However, for the rest of the country...nay, the habitable planet (and therefore by default, where you are most likely from) the term "gangbang" has for time immemorial held a different meaning and referred to....well....that other thing.

So I figure it this way; either....

1) in your haste to BS your way through this apology to appease the stuffy, hyper-sensitive-easily-offended types (and perhaps suddenly wondering if your own CP falls into this category) you've accidently mixed up "who thinks what something means and where do they think it", OR

2) you REALLY didn't know what this term meant, in which case you have my deepest respect for your hardiness and endurance to survive the weather and isolation that goes along with being raised in Antarctica by a family of penguins.
