Can any of you DHL or Airborne guys comment regarding a typicall flight plan fuel burn for a six hour leg. No alternate, no contigencey, no holding just the leg fuel. If not six hours, how about four as a place to start. Either JT9' or CF6's are okay for this estimate.

Thanks in advance

The only 767s flown for DHL in the US are flown by ABX Air. I don't think we have any six-hour legs. Longest would be about five hours block time, ILN to OAK or SJC. I'll try to find a 767 guy to ask about fuel burns on those flights.

I asked one of our 767 pilots. He said close to 60,000# for a six-hour flight starting at max takeoff weight. Less if lighter.

Hey Biggelsworth. Do you mind explaining what the heck is going on in your avatar? Omage to a dead carrier?
